Fraud Campaign

[Anti fraud]

Be aware of ATM frauds – Evil fellows always take advantage of hot political issues, such as refunds, refunding telecommunication deposits for ATM transfers by their victims or take access to passwords through false ATMs.

[Anti intimidation and fraud]

Do not litter DMs in your letterbox. Once in hands of evil fellows, you may become their victim.

[Anti online shopping]

Be aware of online shopping and deal only with renowned firms and be sure to abide by the rule of Seeing is Believing and Make Payment Against Delivery.

Evil fellows always advise that you have won a large prize and ask you to pay the tax and you will never receive the prize.

Be sure not to be greedy and there is no free lunch. Being greedy makes you a victim to frauds.

Be sure to be calm, patient and think more and check before doing anything.

Always check with competent authorities for prizes refunds of labor and farmer’s insurance.

Do not check using the telephone offered by evil fellows.

Fraudulent groups used to publish phone loan announcements or send online messages, telephone calls or mail notices on tax returns.

Do not follow telephone instructions for refunds, prizes or disclosure of ATM card passwords, or you may lose money.

Do remember that ATMs only allow outgoing transfers, not incoming transfers.

[Anti stolen items]

What is vehicle body tattoo?

It means marking the engine No. in more than 10 spots on your vehicle body and doing so would make it more difficult to get rid of stolen items and help the police detect evil fellows.

Be sure to be ready and it does help you avoid losses.

[Anti theft of cars, scooters]

Before parking your car or scooter, check if the key has been removed to avoid theft.

Adding theft marks on the vehicle is the best way to avoid theft and this can be painting, painting parts No. or engine No. on stickers in hidden spots to avoid easy sale of the vehicle and minimize willingness to steal while making it easier to find stolen vehicles.

Ask only reliable shops for your vehicle and this would avoid access of evil fellows to your vehicle. Remove the remote control to keep it from being copied.

Never leave your vehicle unattended, not even for a short period of time, or without theft clock. It is recommendable having a complicated alloy padlock to minimize possibilities of theft.

Check if the used vehicle you are buying has original lock and if it is copied and use no original lock on the vehicle. Use a solid lock.

Use only original, new and solid parts and do no use parts removed from disintegrated stolen vehicles.

If your vehicle is stolen, do not let the case, be sure to report it to the police and document the development for police efforts leading to catching the evil fellows.

Be sure park the car in a parking lot and in a safe spot. Do not park it in an unattended place, where it could be easily stolen.

While police has limited resources, the population does not.

Always keep precious items in a bank safe and bankbooks and the chops must be kept by separate. Be sure to lock well the safe in your house and make it difficult to open.

Before you leave the vehicle after parking it, be sure to take valuable items with you. Do not leave them in the car. If you have to do it, keep them in the trunk and lock it well.

Hints:

1. Be on alert at all times.

2. Make good use of theft items and make theft difficult.

3. Make the neighbors help each other.

To keep repair shops from becoming the place to remove parts. Use only new parts and this would minimize channels and theft of parts.

Apply black paint on new chassis. This would make robber groups take more time to process and minimize the profit.

A new anti-theft identification system is now available – scooter tattoo. This means to paint the engine No. of a large number of hot spots that would be hard to remove, making the sale more difficult.

[Personal practice]

  • Take minimum amount of cash when going out and use ATM cards, credit cards as alternative and keep the cards in hidden pockets instead of wallets.
  • When riding scooters, be sure not to place purses in the front basket or hang it on the handlebars.
  • Be sure to be accompanied when carrying large sum of cash or ask the police for escort.
  • Be alert with strangers when depositing or withdrawing money.
  • When you are found incapable of pursuing robbers or when finding suspects, be sure to dial 110 and remember the look, body, and clothing and transport means (numberplate) and escape direction before reporting the police.

[Taxi driver Robbery]

  • Do remember locations and telephone numbers of police agencies for emergency.
  • Do not show a bunch of bills when giving changes to passengers.
  • When detecting weapons, banned items or criminal marks in passengers, be sure to remember the look and be alert on the move before reporting the police immediately.
  • When heading suburbs in the evening with suspicious passengers, take the vehicle to a safe place and make the excuse on no gasoline instead of keeping on.
  • When learning of robbery on co-workers or under threat of safety, be brave and try to overcome the robbers or report the police immediately.

[Anti-robbery for taxi passengers]

  • Take note of the numberplate of the taxi before riding it.
  • Check if the taxi carries the professional license first and whether the driver displays his photo of himself.
  • When a female is riding a taxi by herself, do not ride by the driver and try not to ride a taxi alone in the evening.
  • When robbed by a taxi driver or when detecting suspicious people, do remember the numberplate, the features, name of the driver and the where it takes before reporting the police immediately.

1. To encourage reports on drug crime, attractive rewards are assigned while keeping informants confidential.

2. Drugs can harm your lifetime. Do value your own life and keep away from drugs.

3. Drugs can take your life and making drugs is a crime.

4. Penalty alleviated or assistance provided to those who turn themselves in as drug addicts.

5. Drugs can hunt you through your lifetime and do not use it before it is to late.

6. Stop using drugs and enjoy happy life.

7. Say no to drugs and make your own life a happy one.

8. Drugs can hurt yourself and others as well as your children.

9. Love your community, your country by getting rid of drugs.

10. Value your life and say NO to drugs.

11. Drugs can hurt your family for long periods of time.

12. Keep away from drugs and make your life a new one with fortune.

13. Be cool and make yourself no Guinea pig for drugs.

14. Sheltering drugs is unacceptable by anybody.

15. Try harder to keep away from drug, or you would be more regretful. Render more concern to minimize harms.

16. Dancing with the drug makes your life unrecoverable.

17. You use drugs, you die alone, do not play with drugs.

18. Be brave when it comes to disclose drug using and make sure everyone lives a happy life.

19. Supporting the government in its anti-drug campaign means protection for you.
